Happening now (MLK day 08:43) sounds like it started in the Clocktower kitchen

Man, they just can't catch a break this year.  Weather, sprinkler systems, fires.

I'm not there today so have no idea the extent of it, hopefully quickly contained?

They moved operations to a talk around channel so I can't hear much now.  They were opening up exterior walls above patrol looking for extension.  Called in a fairly large tanker response.  It does sound like they are starting to release some units, however.

Hidden Valley announced that they'll be closed today (Monday, January 16) as a result of the fire, which they describe as minor and occurring within a kitchen area.  The Seven Springs Pass Office will provide refunds or exchanges for anyone who had purchased a ticket for Hidden Valley today.

Wow bad luck! I remember when we lived in Park City I made a reservation for my wife's birthday at the very upscale Westgate resort - the kitchen has a fire that day and we were comp'd an entire dinner! And it wasn't cheap! Very decent of HV to give something back. Glad no one was hurt.

I heard the fire was in the vents for the restaurant kitchen fryers. You know what that means.....they have not been cleaned in a long time. Just speculating..... Very sad. They were just recovering from the flood from the broken sprinkler pipe. Alot of lost revenue today. Hopefully, things can only go up from here?

We were heading there and my friend got there first. Told me to head to 7S as they had the fire.

Ended up pretty crowded both in the hill and in lines. Likely a bigger crowd than would have been with the HV crowd too.
