In case any of you haven't seen it yet... the Timberline webcam shows natural snow covering the ground... even if it's a skiff, let the season begin!

Darn Baywalker, you beat me to the post.

I heard it from a good source that the guns may begin firing today--probably starting at 2 pm. Stay-tuned. Snowshoe should also be making snow starting at that time as well.

And for the icing on the cake John...

Snowing at WISP!!

The top of the mountain is quite dusted while the bottom is still damp and wet. I wonder... just wondering if Wisp and Timberline will get enough snow down to open just one trail by next week??

For a more accurate view check out the dolly sods cam http://www.fsvisimages.com/doso1/doso1#
The temperature is 27 as 1 pm which I know is more accurate than the posted 43 at Tline. But hey atleast tline has a cam now.At this rapid pace of upgrades it wouldn't surprise me to see a high speed quad there by 2020

If thats the timeline before they get a highspeed quad in there, my business will be a billion dollar IT business in MD, WV, VA, PA and I'll BUY Timberline and install dual highspeed quads with one detachable. Possibly buy out several homes on the one slope, demolish them, have new full grown trees transplanted during the summer and add an additional 25 new slopes.

Now my question is who is gonna buy my IPO?
