What’s New for 2006: Ski Roundtop
Author thumbnail By M. Scott Smith, DCSki Editor

Out with the old, in with the new: this summer, Pennsylvania’s Ski Roundtop is replacing its Fife & Drum double chairlift with a brand new CTEC Triple Chair. The new chairlift will increase uphill capacity and improve traffic flow.

The Exhibition Terrain Park will be moved to the Recruit area, allowing at least half of Exhibition to be open at all times. A new entrance to the Half Pipe will be available from Lafayette’s Leap.

Snowmaking enhancements include the addition of new tower guns on Exhibition and the Half Pipe.

Roundtop is also investing in 180 new sets of rental skis.
