Due to its mountain location, cell service at Pennsylvania’s Whitetail Resort has been spotty in the past. AT&T cell phone subscribers may find significantly more bars on their smartphones due to a recent upgrade. AT&T announced that they have installed a new 3GPP cell site directly at Whitetail.

“Whether you are sharing pictures with friends while hitting moguls, checking snow reports or staying connected to the office on the ski lift, we want you to have an exceptional experience,” said Rob Forsyth, vice president and general manager for AT&T in the greater Washington/Baltimore region.

AT&T reports that guests at Whitetail should experience strong 3G coverage both inside the lodge and across the mountain.
