Hey guys, just signed up. I am from Hampton Roads and have gotten more serious about skiing since I will be inport for the whole season this time. Looking forward to getting some inside scoop from some hard core locals.
I hit up Snowshoe on opening weekend for 3 days and it was barely passable. I went more to take some time with the gf and to get away from the crowds. I am trying to go back on 14-16 Dec in prep for a trip out west to Mammoth and AZ Snowbowl.
I ski on a pair of aging K2 SLX 168's but recently upgraded to Atomic Smoke Ti's.
