Falalala..lala..la..la!..I Posted about this storm a few times allready but the way things are going it will just seem like the snows will pickup & drop in intensity over the next week with a few breaks in the clouds here & there...its just starting to seem like one long Storm!!..The storm of 09/10 winter ..
Dave Leasher the obs guy up at Canaan hts says he is getting exausted wading thru 6 to 7 foot drifts to measure the snow & that his driveway is impassable...

You folks in Carolina are not missing anything here in the City or suburban land. Imagine, we received 50" of snow in 5 days! I have a 1/2 mile driveway. I spent 14 hours getting it clear by Monday only to have to do it all over again. I am too exhausted to ski.
I went into Baltimore City BEFORE blizzard # 2 and I could not believe what I saw. Streets with only one lane of traffic, people walking in the street since the sidewalks are buried, cars buried every where, no place to park, narrow strees that only a front end loader could clear, huge piles of snow EVERYWHERE. Wow!
I'll be skiing in the winter wonderland this weekend, but I prefer this much snow stay up in the mountains since our ancient City cannot handle this much snow.
That said, this is the winter of a lifetime! We may not see one like this for a long time. I feel like cancelling my Vail trip....NOT!

Too much of a good thing!..BUT..Mr Smith..I've been tracking a storm on the models that I have told everyone down here (Wilmington/Wrightsville beach,NC) not to be surprised by a snowstorm this weekend & low & behold...WINTER STORM WATCH!!..Just issued by NWS. My Brother who lives in Anappolis,MD has been ribbin me about not ever getting snow this far south & that all I have are Cold Palms in my yard...

PS..Al Gore owns a home on a private Island down here..But I'm sure that he is at the olympics with Family wishing for Snow (to be fair & balanced!)
