Do they set that course on White Lightning?
They have set it in the past starting on upper thunder just below the thunder draft split above mid station. Not too steep which is good for novices and old-timers. you ought to try it! I have done it in the past.
Yes, it was on Upper Thunder and Lower Thunder - starting just below the Pump House. Photo Coverage available to see some of the action: www.visitcanaan.com
(as usual, look for photo coverage)
Couple more races coming up as well... any one attending them at T-Line?
Our favorite is locals' cup. We'll be there for that.
The top man and top woman glass "souvenir" was beautiful.
All the hard work from TLine's racing dept didn't go un-noticed.
Vic, you are dead on right about the race department. The race department and events department are quality for sure. The do an amazing job at every event. Really all the departments in Ski School are tremendous. Ski School at T-line really deserves more recognition in general for the on snow events, programs, terrain parks etc.. that they are responsible for as well as the day to day teaching. Few people realize just how much the Ski School at Timberline is resposible for and how much work they do. It is really amazing what they do and how committed to the sport they are!
