just got back from a day trip to timberline saturday. they still have quite a few trails open and the coverage on the open trails was very good. they still had a huge pile of snow at the top to shove around not to mention the huge bumps on OTW. not sure though how bad the weather (highs in the 50's and rain towards the end of the week) will effect their base.

Man, I wish Timberline would put up a webcam. Anyone know what kind of shape they're in or want to venture a guess on Saturday conditions. I'll be in the neighborhood Friday night and would just as soon crash in CV as drive home if there are any good turns left. Maybe the corn will come up?

It's tough to ski in 60 degree weather. Also, can anyone comment on the conditions of Timberline's base?

OMG you neeeeed to head up there and ski. if you have never skied in shorts and a tshirt you dont know what you are missing. its sooo much fun to be out there wearing that while skiing. the breeze just overtakes your entire body and the only thing you need to do is avoid falling. I cant wait to get out at app this weekend in shorts and a T. i cant say that ive been looking foward to it bc it always marks the end of the season, but its a darn good way to end such a great season.
