This coming Monday I'm off work and boys are out of school. Looking for one-day quick trip to the slopes. Live 1/2 hour south of DC. What do people recommend? Massanutten, Whitetail, Liberty, Roundtop?

We live in Stafford. Our quick trips were often to Wintergreen. You should probably add that to your list of possibilities.

As Clay said, Wintergreen is one option. Another is Massanutten which would be an hour closer. I live in Culpeper and the nut is just under an hour going 29 south, at Madison, take 230 west to 33 at Standardsville, then 33 over the hill to the nut.
