not really a "monster" lap but sometimes we start at WG, ski to T'line across the bottom of the Valley, catch a not so quick lift ride to the top, go down Sally to the Goverment Turn (first hard left), at the turn we go right into the woods back to FS80 and head right and uphill towards WG. After a while you pick up Blackbird Wing trail thru the gate on the left and take it over to the upper part of 3 mile at WG. Then you can add on whatever you want over there and return to your starting point. Thats a pretty fun little route. It doesn't really get you far out into the Sods though. Guess you could loop around Stonecoal Flats or something too. I'm sure Chip could give you a million options in a short conversation.

more of a tour until you get back to the slopes at WG. Its mostly ungroomed and but may be tracked depending on when you hit it. A good light BC setup, nnnbc boot/bindings, are perfect for the touring part but still let you play a bit when things turn downhill.
