Grain of salt

Canaan is reporting packed wet snow, while Timberline is reporting powder.

I think Canaan is being a wee bit more honest in this case.

Timberline says that they have about 2-3" of powder surface. It did rain last night but the new stuff has helped. The report is accurate according to the resort.
