Resorts by Snow Depth

It's amazing that Timberline and Canaan have more snow than Stowe currently.

Snowshoe has more snow than Alta.

i would say that is because resorts around here greatly exagerate their base depths, while ones in Vermont actually provide a decent range - 12 inches in the parking lot to 65 inches at peak for Stowe.

of all the resorts around here, I would say Snowshoe is the most legitimate with their measurements. i've been to a few places in the past two weeks -blue knob for example claimed a 65 inch base top to bottom. tell that to the bottom of my skis.....
