Driving home into Davis this evening I was a bit surprised to see wet snowflakes hitting my windshield. So I drove a few miles up to Canaan Heights to enjoy all snow falling up there. Its good to see the white stuff again

Awesome! I saw it was 36 degrees up at Pointy Knob. I clicked on the Dolly Sods camera to see if it was snowing and the sites down. Thanks for the update.

Before I cked in on DCski I cked on the weather obs up there & thought that there was a chance that some flakes were flying above 4000' & now we have confirmation! MPC is closer to the moisture & with the nearly 4800' top I bet it will be whitetopped tommoro morn....I'll be up there the last weekend of Oct & hope to see a little snow!...Still swimming & surfing without wetsuits down here(se nc)...I'm ready for a change!

NO NO NO!!! Too early. Thats it now Ullr is ticked off at your presumption!. We mere mortals must not wax or even cast sidelong glances at our gear until a day, maybe two, before you actually hit the hill for the first time. We're doomed, doomed I tells ya.
