Hmmn snowstorm was a bust

checking the cams and reports this morning, Wisp was the only resort to get snow, 3 inches worth. At least there is some more snow forecasted for the burgh Later this week.
I guess some more grass skiing at Hidden Valley this weekend....yes Iisinsane.
after last sunday, i'm surprised hv is even opening this weekend. i'm considering driving up tomorrow (saturday) but don't know if it will be worth it.. are you at hv? is there anything left to ski on (for those of us who are not very good on grass!).
also, 7spring cams didn't look bad earlier today -- i was thinking about hitting them on monday (work permitting) for free season pass day. any first hand accounts of 7springs conditions?
Bare spots abound, the top flats are getting real thin and narrow, the slopes themselves holding up decent. SKiing next week until 7PM only, my guess is a few more days above freezing and the back side gets wiped off the map for the season.
Yeah HV opened with strips of snow, and it was icey at that trust me you didnt miss anything.
Skiing was great at the Springs on the backside till noon, some of the best runs of the year. The challenge was avoiding all the PSIA weenies standing around talking about skiing. :-)

That is what I was waiting for! Have not seen you around much lately. BTW I showed at the Bear at 10:00 that day for the "lesson" but you were no where to be found. Tried your cell but did not get an answer. Had to bolt around 10:10 as we were gettin' hit. You gonna be around for the Skim?

Yeah, sorry about that, the 9 AM was a few minutes late and we ran over to about 10:15 before I came back to get the trouble 10:00 that you were gonna help with. That's how it goes on weekends though <shrug> Thanks for trying.
Right now, I plan on skiing again Friday and turning everything in and clearing out the locker. I might come for the skim and even participate, haven't decided yet. I'll call you if I do. Depends on the weather that day, but basically, after ~115 days on snow and most of that Spring conditions...I'm ready to put em away and dig out the clubs and bikes. Not even skiing today, tomorrow or Thursday.
Where were ya hiding all season? Didn't see you around as much as last year. I guess we were just both busy. Look me up if you're on the mtn this summer. I'm there FT with the rec center, biking, hiking, climbing, paintball...stuff like that. I gotta get a real job someday
