These are two different events, obviously. I am planning to enter the MSA event on January 24/25 in the solo category. Is anyone else from the area interested?

The Tremblant event is quite a bit more keyed-up. Speed suits are allowed, and you are allowed to tuck.

Is anyone from the area planning to enter?

There was a writeup for the MSA event in the Jan. 2004 SKIING.

Still looking for one more skier.

Are you going to MSA?

The race is going to be horrible this year. Was just up there on Wednesday right before the rain came. They run both the fun and competitive groups on the same trail, which is really stupid and unsafe.
Because of the conditions, we pulled our team for the race, which is good considering the rain is going to destroy the snowpack they have now. I wouldnt be surprised if they cancel it this weekend.

Nope. Plan was to do the tremmy event, but we scratched our team. Drove back down to Virginia, although I'm considering leaving this afternoon and going to sugarbush.
