Virginia’s Massanutten Resort has a $30 million enhancement on tap - but it won’t be unveiled until after the close of the 2004-2005 ski season. In the Summer of 2005, Massanutten will unveil the first phase of a new water park. When complete, the water park will be one of the most elaborate water parks on the east coast.

Phase One of the project will produce a 42,000 square foot indoor water park area, with an 88,000 square foot outdoor area scheduled to follow. The park will feature numerous slides, a lazy river, a wave pool, and other amenities. Massanutten will be building a food court, lockers and showers, a video arcade, and a full service restaurant.
