The sun was out at Liberty today and it really baked the slopes. The daylight hours offered some very nice spring skiing. Thanks to a few hours of cold temps on Saturday night, Upper Ultra was open, adding some expert terrain. Other trails open: First Class, Nova, Sneaky Pete, Snowboard Park, Dipsy Doodle, Upper and Lower Heavenly and Lower Ultra.

After the sun went down, the moist snow firmed up considerably and ice could be found in a few places.

Rock skis were not needed today, except on Upper Ultra. Crowds were very light.

Since we aren’t having winter this year, bright sunny days mean great spring skiing.
