Author thumbnail By M. Scott Smith, DCSki Editor

In 2001, Seven Springs installed the first “six pack” high-speed lift in Pennsylvania. Over the past summer, Seven Springs has installed its second six-passenger high-speed lift, replacing the triple chair Gunnar and reducing transit time from 12 minutes to about three. The $3 million lift will service trails in the North Face section of the mountain, and carry up to 3,200 guests per hour up 750 vertical feet.
