Very cool. That resort, when it gets complete, will offer some major vert. It also might help bring some much needed properity to a war torn region of the world.

In any event, for those who enjoy "skiing the world," it will become a "must do" resort.

Nice Spruce Glades btw. I just hope they were forrested properly.

More on the Gulmarq gondola:

Denver Post Article on Gulmarq Gondola

This will be the first lift to surpass the 13,000 foot mark. When completed, it will extend higher than Loveland's high-speed quad, which currently holds the record at 12,700 feet.

And I get the feeling they can go from base to summit STILL Faster than what thunderdraft can at Timberline. lol

I think that makes it higher than Mount Porte Crayon.
