That's big news. That means that Intrawest is poised for some new competition and potentially some good ski areas could go to crap. Or they could get a lot better. It will be interesting to see how this plays out.

Yeah. It will be interesting to see if a non-ski company buys Vail, and if so, how they will run it. I could see a hotel or cruise ship company getting into this business. That's not necessarily a good thing but not necessarily bad either. Only time will tell.
