Freestyle of Charlottesville is holding the third annual free demo days at Massanutten on Jan. 10-11, 9:00-3:00. Brands include Blizzard, Dynastar, Head, Rossignol, K2, Nordica, Rossignol, Salomon and Volkl.

Massanutten ski school is offering special Women's Clinics on Friday late afternoon, Jan. 9, and Sunday morning, Jan. 11. Must have at least two participants to hold a clinic. Each clinic will be $30 for 2 hours. Instructors will be PSIA Level 2 or 3.  The women who did the clinic with Julie Dillenbeck (Level 3) last winter had a very good time.  Another instructor worked with less advanced skiers.

Snowmaking started up again last night at Massanutten.  Even mentioned that they will start on Paradice in the near future.  Should be plenty of open terrain by Jan. 9.  I'm happy since I'll be at Mnut Jan. 6-11 regardless of conditions.

Paradice is open!  Freestyle sets up their demo tent at the base of Lift 6.  Here's the list of what they plan to bring for women.

There will be men's skis from Blizzard, Head, Rossignol, K2, Nordica, Rossgnol, Salomon and Volkl.

Massanutten is 100% open as of Jan. 9!  Conditions were excellent today, as long as you didn't mind skiing under snow guns on the harder terrain.  Given the cold weather predicted for the next 48 hours, should be excellent conditions for checking out potential skis all weekend.

Both special Women's Clinics will be held because there is enough interest from intermediate/advanced Ski Divas.
