Bryce has not indicated whether open next week, encourage them by visiting this week. Both Bryce & Wintergreen open next weekend. Later?

Well, Timberline is open this week. But not M-Th of next week.
CVR is closed for the season.
BK is closed Mon - Thurs of this week.
Blowshoe, oops, Snowshoe is open, but Silver Creek section is closed.
But most importantly for Jimmy and JohnL and those who care; Big Sky, Bridger Bowl and Moonlight Basin are open, rocking, and expecting a fair amount of snow until the immediate future...
I think it's $20 for Bryce on March 18-22.
Leaving Thursday. Checking out Grand Targhee on the way to Big Sky. Weather forecast looks a lot better than it did just a few days ago!
Thanks for correction! Enjoy your trip to Montana'

Surprisingly, Liberty is open this week until 5pm Sunday, when they shutdown for the season. I'm thinking of taking a trip up there for a couple of hours on Sunday.

Hoping to get some on the spot Montana weather reporting from girlboarder247 soon.
It's been snowing all day at Big Sky...calling for 3"-6" tonight...teaching snowboarding tomorrow...I'll check back in at 1840 MST with exact conditions tomorrow

Sounds like you need support up there

.
Good news is that it looks like Montana will be as wintry as West Virginia for the next week or so.
Next week could be amazing for WV with mixed precip sunday-monday followed by cold temperatures and snow most of the week!!!
Any guesses for who will stay open the latest? I'm assuming many areas will stay open at least for Easter but what abut the first two weekends in April? You can be almost certain Snowshoe and Tline will have the base to do so but will they actually pull the trigger and spin the lifts for some April Mid-Atlantic skiing??
Anyone planning on being at TL next Thursday or Friday?

That post.+ the fact that you are heading west just put another foot to the f-cast for WV...I better update my post on the weather thread!

You have seriously paid your dues to the ski Gods JL..I hope your legs have taken a break and you ski to your hearts content underneath the Big Sky!....have a great trip buddy...be safe...
Big Sky was skiing pretty well this morning

P.S. The tram has been closed throughout all this snow, and still is closed...they are ordering parts and working on it, but it will be closed for at least the rest of today. That's awesome because the pow is just piling up! Ski patrol is using the auxiliary motor to go up for AC work in the mornings, but everything is otherwise untracked! Once they get that thing opened, it is going to be sweet up there!
