I skied Snowshoe and conditions were very good, considering the weather. A few bare spots, but in general enough cover to make it fun on all the slopes, even Shay's Revenge. Silver Creek area closed, but the Shoe still going strong until Sunday April 2. Hawthorne Golf Course is upposed to open this weekend, and they have a great combined golf and ski package. Not sure what situation will be however, Snowshoe received 5 inches of snow overnight. What I am saying is: support Mid-Atlantic skiing and head for WVA this weekend. Cool temperatures this week will allow for grooming, and the slopes should be in great shape for the final weekend. It was worth the drive last weekend, only better this weekend!
