They lie. It was at least 8-12" of very good quality powder. My daughter, son in law and grandsons brought their Mad River Glen honed skills and went crazy in Utah powder.

The sweetest words in the English language are, "Meet me in the Gold Miners Daughter at 8:30" after it has been puking snow at Alta all night. it was an amazing powder day. Still snowing hard when we came down. Forecast, 3-5 more tomorrow, 9-13 more tomorrow night, 6-10 more on Thurs. And it goes on. It's a classic Little Cottonwood Canyon storm cycle. The sun was shining down here in the valley when we returned.
