I wouldn't be surprised to see Loveland announce the same thing sometime today.

Well I just learned something. Timberline, Oregon opened for skiing on September 30 on the Palmer snowfield. Unlike A-Basin and Loveland, it's on "old" snow, but it is snow.

Anyone that needs an early season fix can now choose from three resorts in two states.
