and it's still snowing like heck on Colorado's continental divide. Current base 105 inches with almost 2 feet of fresh in the last three days. Snowpack is 294% of average, and ytd snowfall is 458 inches. That's almost Cascades amounts.

The resort initially announced a 6/5/11 closing date, but pulled a switcheroo this week by announcing that it would be open on weekends after 6/5 AT LEAST thru June 19.

If the snow keeps up, it may actually make it to July 4th -- which is always a goal of the basin

It appears that there's so much snow at Aspen, that they are trying to be open weekends - maybe thru 4th of July.

I'm at Snowbird now, and it is still awesome here too. Probably the best June riding I've done in twenty years.
