Glad to see that Snowtime is continuing its great $399 pass deal for 2010-2011. This year, though, that price is good only through April 30 rather than through October 31. The price rises to $429 after April 30. My guess is that the "full" price will then kick in after Halloween, as it did in past years.

My son and I stowed our ski gear yesterday. To help ease the transition, I bought my 2010-11 pass this morning. cool

Although comments on this board indicate that not many use the "Mountains of Distinction" program benefit, it's a selling point for me. Having a Snowtime pass this year brought me several benefits I used in addition to free skiing at Liberty, Whitetail and Roundtop:
* Preferred parking at Liberty (nice to have just a short walk)
* Passholder's lunch and free quick tunes at Liberty in October
* Mountains of Distinction 50% weekday discounts at 12 other areas: I skied Seven Springs twice for half price, and used this option previous years at Windham and Wintergreen.
* Special deals for passholders at other areas -- Wisp has a passholder's day, I got a free ticket at Hunter on 3/28, and took discounts twice at Saddleback. (Last season: free March ticket at Camelback.)
* $20 tickets any day at Stratton exc. during holiday weeks and special events.

Not bad at all!

Here's to the season just past and the season to come,
