Holimont in Western PA is amazingly still open. Although it is closed to the public usually on weekends.

I will be skiing the summit snowfields and/or Great Gulf on 5/21 & 22 with my good friend Otto Rhoad, and a bro-in-law and a nephew. It looks like Otto will be ready just in time.

Tucks is insanity and we are in the peak of falling ice season,

Anyhow I have been there and done that and now spend my time at other places in the Presidential Range where the skiing is as good or better and the insanity level is a lot lower.

Man, you just don't let up anymore. Is it because of the wise cracks about the crab pots?

David,
I am like you, I like my ocean swimming in "bathtub" water, near 80 degrees. Otherwise the air temp needs to be in the nineties, and the water temp not lower than 75 degrees.
I do not go to the Md and Del beaches due to cold water temps. Usually hit VA Beach in August or Sept when water near 80 degrees. The Bay and Lower Potomac where we have our 2nd home ususally is in mid eighties by July.
MY WIFE AND I ARE TAKING THE EXTENDED FAMILY (KIDS' FAMILIES) TO DUCK IN EARLY-MID JULY. ANYBODY KNOW WHAT KIND OF WATER TEMPS I CAN ANTICIPATE. FROM THE CLIMATE RECORDS IT APPEARS TO BE SIMILAR TO VA BEACH,ON AVERAGE.

Dennis,
What is the ski area that appears to be behind Mt. Washington in the videos you posted? Appears to be quite a bit of snow on the trails.

Huh? I didn't post a video.

At this time of year the Presidentials are the only thing worth doing.

Yep. Wildcat's last day of operation this year was April 20.
