Heading to PA this weekend because I have skied Massanutten for the past three. Would someone give me an honest opinion on whether I should ski Whitetail, Roundtop, or Liberty?

Bobby, if you are limiting yourself to those three resort go to Whitetail. What part of VA do you live in? You may have better choices just as close, but in other states.

I'm heading up to 7 Springs this weekend for the annual Telepalooza and my PSIA Nordic Level 1 exam. I've never been to 7 Springs or the Telepalooza. What can I expect?

I'm in Stafford as well (well, not at the moment) and when my son and I used to day trip we would often go to Wintergreen. It's a nice little place though not as big as some of the more northen slopes like 7 springs

Of the three, Whitetail is the best in relation to the drive time from Stafford. If you are going to drive all the way up to Roundtop, you should seriously consider Timberline and CV or even WTG as suggested above.

Yinz better wear sum Stillers gear ya jagoff.

Never bin to Telepalooza but 7 springs is fun place to ski. Lots of wide open spaces, plenty of room to move around and get away from the crowds. The foggy goggle should be a rockin place to watch the super bowl if you stay for that, even if you're not it will still be crazy all day. Congrat on u Level 1. j

We were up there during the AFC championship games, even though all of our group was Ravens fans, we enjoyed the crowd, and the Steelers fans are very well mannered both on the slopes and in the ski lodge, it made for a very enjoyable day, except for the game, which we watched back at our rental property.
