I was looking at my calendar and lo and behold \:o the best winter celebration in the mid atlantic is approaching quickly on March 14, 15, 16 @ t-line. I know a lot of DC skiers usually attend if for nothing more than to watch the torch light and fireworks. Who's planning on going? Anybody doing the torchlight? Do we have some special luau beverage??? ;\) Hope for another Big pow weekend like last year's. Perhaps we can do our gathering again this year. \:\)

Mark me down as tentative, since we'll be getting back from a Utah trip on the 13th and I will probably be worn out. I might aim for Saturday or Sunday at TL, depending on weather and snow. I don't care too much about the other activities, but would enjoy meeting some DCskiers and skiing together (brewskis afterwards would be a plus). If this happens to line up with a powder dump, I'll really try hard to make it.

I spent a weekend down there listening to Willy's greatest hits over and over and over AND OVER again. I think it's stuck in the CD player.

The lifties at the Silver Queen chair always seem to play decent music. Where is the music that you guys are talking about coming from, the main base lodge?

My son & I will be at the Luau. We're planning on skiing Fri, Sat, & Sunday. If the rest on the family comes, we'll also ski Monday before driving to VT.

Skier219 - The Saturday night festivities are worth experiencing at least once. The parade is pretty cool to watch.

Well, if I can swing an overnighter maybe I will stick around both days and see the show Saturday night. I wouldn't mind breaking out my AT rig for a day at Whitegrass either, conditions permitting.

I am planning on being there for Sat and Sun. Like last year, I'll start orchestrating the DCSkiers get togethers.
Scott, any chance you can make the Luau?
