just got this email heads-up:
"We're getting kinda sick of all the skiers constantly complaining about stuff like flip-flops on Steep and Cheap, so we're doing a Bell-to-Bell day Tuesday, December 11. That's right-all ski gear, all day long"

I may have to refinance my fixed rate mortgage to an ARM to pay for all the gear I'll be buying...
they've had a ton of 10K waterproof jackets and pants repeatedly lately for well under $100, so im sure there will be plenty more. some even had recco reflectors in em, just in case you get caught in one of those prevalent east coast avy's :p
email this AM... so you can check out the specs on backcountry.com before hand
those salomon boots look enticing.

i had gotten some 8000's when they were up a few weeks ago.
i was slightly bummed when I got em tho, because they had the '07 model pictured, so I was super psyched till i opened the box. SAC said they put up the wrong picture, so they refunded me shipping cost and gave me a coupon even tho it was still a killer deal for the '06 model and i still woulda bought em
