So who has heard the SNOW talk for next week?
November 6, 2007
Accuweather (I know, not the most reliable) has a number of blogs where people are mentioning very cold air moving in late this weekend and possible snow showers up and down the east cost.
I'm just happy that temperatures are low enough to even speculate compared to last month.
Things are starting to stir..the weather is showing signs of a good pattern developing...Get those guns out SS!..PS On the Nov Tease thread a while back Accuweather put in a mention of snow on the 7th...they could have nailed it over a week ago..Stay Tuned!..& Waxed?
from the NWS forecast for Davis, WV next week
Tuesday Night: A chance of snow or rain showers. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 29. Chance of precipitation is 40%.
Wednesday: A chance of snow showers. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 44. Chance of precipitation is 30%.
Flurries in the forecast for this week and the word on the ridge is that 7S is planning on making some test snow Wed. night.
it was definately cold enough to make snow friday night in the valley (18 F) but i don't think they fired up any guns at tline. Altho, there was still frost on the ground at 6pm saturday on some of the trails at whitegrass, so we are gettin close!
I'll be in the valley this weekend for housework and a HOA meeting. Maybe I'll see myt first snow and can change to winter beer. (finally!)
was workin with dave's. didn't know all the spruce planting projects in the area is his thing, very interesting stuff. all great people and a great fall weekend to be out workin in the mountains
