Has anyone seen Timberline's new website? I'm not sure when it came up, but it kind of goes above and beyond what we all expect from TLine. You can even book a trip and pay for it online :). Just wondering if anyone else had noticed it.

Did you notice that Tline's events page says that their closing day will be April 6, 2008. Snowshoe is listing their closing as March 30, 2008. No April skiing at the Shoe?

That date is set by t-line as a target. Usually they easily make it to the first of April. The shoe, on the other hand, just looks at the bottom line and figures it's not cost effective to remain open. They used to pride themselves of opening first and closing last in the mid-atlantic. The times they are a changing.

This year resort closing dates in WV will be driven by a factor other than weather...Easter. Easter holidays will be in March this year negating the potential for crowds in early April.
In addition, the posted potential openning and closing dates for any resort are subject to many variables and easily can change with the circumstances.

Hey I just checked it out...having trouble finding events page that list actuall on snow events..races, terrain park events, on snow tele, womens and other clinics....Ski school does a great job putting those events on but the advertising has always been a problem...seems like it would be nice to have on snow events somewhere on that site...then again maybe I just couldn't find it on their????

I messed around with it some. Wanted to look at a few days between Xmas and newyears. It seems to be user intensive. I would have had to figure out the number of tickets midweek and weekend myself. I didn't make it to lodging. I might try again, but I like it when the websites give you packages based on your dates/number of people.

Yeah...none of the actual events are listed under "events." ...Maybe knowing the dates of Christmas Warm-Up Weekend and the Winter Rhythm and Blues Weekend are more important than the Rail Jams...NOT!

Nice photos, but I'll be danged if I can understand their ticket rates. Check out the regular season, adult, Monday-Thursday prices: $21.00 for all day but $49.00 for half day? Hey, I know what I want!

As my dad likes to say, there must be a frog in the wheel.
