Just got this email for home owner realtions. I'm real glad they are putting in an expert slope I feared more greens. Should be steep enough by widow maker to make for a good trail.

"Snowshoe Mountain and Sawmill Village have announced today that they
will be joining forces to construct two new trails at the resort. The
new trails will increase the number of slopes at the resort to 59.

"The development of new terrain is something that our guest and
homeowners have been asking for and this is a great opportunity for us to
deliver," said Bill Rock, vice president and general manager of Snowshoe
Mountain. "We're looking forward to building upon our success this year
to achieve even higher levels of performance in the future."

The deal includes an investment of roughly $1 million for construction
of the two trails, which will be adjacent to the Sawmill Village
development in Snowshoe's South Mountain area. One trail will be for expert
skiers and snowboarders, while the other will be designed as an
intermediate trail. They will be next to the Widowmaker slope and accessed by
the region's newest high-speed quad, which opened earlier this season."

Would those trails be facing due south?

Opposite. On the south end, the snowshoe bowl closes, and has a northern exposure. Silvercreek also faces due north.
