There have been some questions regarding the Whitetail Tele Festival on another thread so I thought I would post the details. The Festival will be held Sunday March llth from 8AM - 3PM. It is FREE. Signup will begin at 8:00 AM in the arcade on the bottom level. I'm pretty sure Darell Hensley and Shelly (I forget her last name) will be heading the coaching staff. They are Level III examiners and some of the best tele skiers on the east coast. Whitetail will be offering discounted tickets ($41 for the day). So, if you like to tele and want to support a genuine effort by a local resort to support Tele skiing you should show up. It will be fun.

For more information or if you plan to attend (they ask that participant RSVP) email skischool@whitetail.com

You need your own equipment, but Rusty at the shop there has some that can be rented. Don't know if there will be a discount on this.

FREE, that's a pretty good deal. Darell is not only one of the best teleskiers anywhere, he's a bunch of fun to spend the day with. Ask him about his recent tri-fecta.

I have skied with Darell a handful time and always had a fantastic time and learned alot. OK - I'll bite. I'm guessing the tri-fecta is tele/fly fishing/golf round all in the same day.

BTW - it's "Dusty" in the shop. There are only a few sets of tele rentals.

Rusty is in the "snow sports" school

Good times. Thanks for the heads up, Tom. Are you the Tom I met there? If so, thanks for putting on a great event!
