Does anyone know where T-Line gets the current temp for it's webpage and how often its updated? Right now it is 6-7 degrees colder on their webpage then on the weather sites.

It must be on site; Right now in McHenry (Garrett College) it's 15.8, so the 14 on the TL website is right, based on the normal adiabatic rate of 3.3 degrees per 1000' feet of elevation for moist air and TL's elevation of 3100 vs the college at 2600.

Last I checked about an hour ago it was 13 degrees and we had received 4.2" of snow so far. Been snowing heavily since then -- probably between 5-6 inches so far.

Just to throw in that it has been snowshowering here in Wardensville with the temperature being in the mid-20's early afternoon and through this evening. In the one burst of snow we had for no more than 15 minutes, the ground was white in patches showing that the ground is nearly frozen. That is my thoughts considering how fast it was collecting snow.
