Ok weather Guru's, what are the forecasters calling for?

The weather people around here are saying 6"-12" in the burbs North & West of DC. They are actually calling for less in the mountains.

I'm heading to Wisp on Saturday, am I gonna miss out on a big dump here in DC?

I saw forecasts of 3-6 in Dc with the hills getting 6 - 10. I like that one.
