Well here I go again. This coming season I'm going to Mammoth and looking for skiers to join me.

This year Mammoth skied until July 4. Not like Killington does it, Mammoth had all natural snow.

Hey ESB, how's the summer going?

Is Reno your destination airport for this trip?

Yes Reno is the airport. Hence the overnight there on the end of the trip.

Summer's been good... hope yours has been too.

ESB,

Some feedback. You (or your group) schedule your trips a bit too early in the year. February or March is generally a better time of year for the destination trip splurge. Even if it means spending a few bucks more compared to early January ...

Speaking of destination trips, so who is doing Utah ~ the first week of March?

I'm finalizing plans, but looks like March 1-12 for me in Utah.

JohnL, looking at the crew that'll be in the area, you mite consider leaving your wolverine at home.

I agree with you........ unfortunately the ski club has Vail in Mid. Feb., Montana in early March, and Serre Chevalier late March. Late Jan. was about the only place to put the trip without running into the others. We don't have a large enough club anymore to compete with ourselves.

BTW..... Jan. 21-28 is the same week Blue Ridge Ski council is holding their western carnival at Sun Valley.

I'm actually not going anywhere this winter. All my money and time are now locked up in a dive trip I'm taking in March.
