I traveled to Seven Springs on Friday with my daughter and her boyfriend to finally ski the springs for the first time this year. What I found was a fully open ski resort which , surprisingly enough was uncrowded. Over the course of eight hours we skied nearly every inch of terrain that was open except for a couple of glade runs, for fear of thin cover.
The management at the springs should be commended for being able to bring the slopes up to grade that quickly.
I am envious of everyone who skied Saturday and Is skiing there today.

Went to 7 Springs yesterday the 23rd. Best conditions of the year. Alpine glades were well covered-excellent times. Other glades/trails (ie. Blitzen) had many bare spots though. The wind seemed to blow some of the new powder, leaving bare spots/ice in some spots. But, mainly it was pp/pd. They have 1/2 price tix today (w/coupon from web site) for anyone who lives close by.
