I wonder how many DC Skiers will be in the SLC area sometime over the next week? It would be fun to have a meet up.

I'm going but not til March 8. Is this your first trip to SLC? Where do you plan to ski? Have a great time!

I'm heading out towards the end of February. Then maybe again in mid-March. However I am going to Jackson Hole on the 27th of this month. I'll wear the pin because you'll never know who you're going to run into.

My wife and I will be there tomorrow, coming back the 16th. We're staying in SLC, probably hitting Solitude on the 16th before we come home. Snowbasin the 15th is the plan. Was out for a week last month on a boys only trip and had great conditions; looking for more of the same this week. Hoping to meet up with Crush tomorrow for some runs thru the trees at The Canyons! As JimK said, Snowcone, "Your timing for your trip is about as good as it gets for tons of snow, Utah has received almost as much as the "once in a century" amounts California has been hit by since the start of the year, and probably dryer quality."

I'm not going until the 29th - 5th. Utah is sounding very popular this year.

I am hearing reports of Utah wet powder (aka Sierra Cement) in Park City and Deer Valley. Very unusual for Salt Lake area. Skiing at higher elevations would probably help. Also Snowbird and Alta higher elevations may also help. Check out resort elevations at Snow Country
