First time I've seen that... (snowshoe area) -- how many snowballs does it go up to!?

Whitetail webcam: snow seems a bit wet from 100 miles at least...?

Still, NOT COMPLAININ'!

sorry, sorry -- rather vague. in the DCSki weather forecast there's a little icon by each day that shows if it is going to be good snow making weather or not. Today under SNOWSHOE its show six SNOWFLAKES (not snowballs, i'm a little tired...)

Anyway, I've never seen 6 snowflakes before in the snowgun predictor (as i like to call it) and just thought it was both interesting, and cool...

thought maybe someone else new how many snowflakes it could go up to!?

OK, ok, maybe I'm just a little easily exciteable..

My apologies too. I just jump straight to the forum hoping to read some more good snow news. I will try to checkout the 'front' of DCSki page first before rushing to the forum.

Since I have the snow fever, I can forgive you for being easily excitable too.

I assume you are talking about this icon -->

It sure does look pretty, ain't it?

So, in the major rewrite of DCSki over the summer, I didn't leave a stone unturned -- I even updated the snowmaking icons. The icon is actually made from a real photo I took of a snowgun at Whitetail. The snowflakes were added with Photoshop.

And yes, the really-really-good-snowmaking icon has six snowflakes this year. (Last year I think the max was 5.) Many resorts increased their snowmaking capacity over the summer, so I had to follow suit.
