Well now is Canaan going aggressive this season? They turned on their guns too! Fantastic beginning, keep the flakes flying.

The 3K elevation advantage on display. Snowshoe, TLine and Canaan are all blowing flakes. Let’s hope the trend continues. A bump up is coming though, the usual Mid-Atlantic drama. Wonder if they can hold onto the efforts after this weekend bump up? The good thing is those resorts will be 10 to 20 degrees colder than the other local resorts. Definitely like the “can do attitude”

3K ?  Top of the Shoe is about 4,800; top of 7S is about 3,000.  Obviously even a thousand feet makes a big difference. We were screwed by geology in PA. If we had mountains at 4,000+ feet, the snow would be very nice, since we are further north.

3K plus as a baseline. Any future potential ski areas take note.
