John Phillips

John Phillips is author of Ski & Snowboard America: Mid-atlantic, now in its second edition with Beachway Press and Globe Pequot Publishing's Outside America guidebook series. His book covers skiing and snowboarding from Pennsylvania to North Carolina, and he also serves as editor for Beachway's Ski America series and reports on the Mid-atlantic scene for several publications. He can be found snowboarding the local slopes on most winter weekends, and manages to blow off his full-time job as a Web marketing manager in northern Baltimore whenever weekday winter conditions permit.

John has written 11 stories for DCSki since 2001.
