Shawnee Mountain has made a number of minor improvements in preparation for the 2005-2006 winter season. The Pennsylvania resort has added a new Piston Bully Pipe Magician grooming device to keep its 400-foot half pipe in good shape. Shawnee Mountain is also enhancing its Super Park terrain park by adding a new 7-foot Wall Ride. Many kinds of kickers and table tops will be available in the park.

Shawnee has rebuilt the Bushkill double chairlift, replacing the drive and installing new sheave assemblies.

The ski area has also purchased 550 new Elan Shaped skis, 125 Elan snowboards, 200 Ovo helmets, and 25 Salomon ski boards for its rental shop.
