Ski Roundtop Closes

Ski Roundtop closed today at noon due to unfavorable snow conditions. A combination of warm weather and liquid precipitation chiseled away at Roundtop’s base, leaving 10” which Roundtop hopes to save for the Thanksgiving weekend, when they will try to re-open. Monday and Tuesday nights should offer temperatures low enough to make snow, but warm daytime weather returns to the area next Wednesday - the high on Thursday could reach 60.

Seven Springs, Wisp, and Snowshoe remain open; thanks to its high elevation, Snowshoe is expecting snow tonight and tomorrow and anticipates having ideal snowmaking conditions for the next several days. Snowshoe currently has eight trails open, with a 20-30” base.
