The golf season has begun at Canaan Valley Resort, and golfers will be able to take advantage of early season rates through May 27.
“This is the earliest opening date in the history of the resort, and our golf course crew has been working overtime to get ready,” said Jeff Hutchinson, director of golf for the West Virginia resort. “Our course is in great condition and our greens are in particularly fine shape,” he added.
Canaan’s 18-hole golf course was designed by Geoffrey Cornish. Early season midweek rates, through May 27, are $22 for green’s fees and $18 for cart rental. Early season weekend rates are $24 for the green’s fees and $19 for cart rental.
The pro shop and grill are currently being remodeled. Visitors should call the resort at (800) 622-4121 for more information on golf and lodging packages and reserve tee times.
