The 15 Annual Poconos Greatest Irish Festival will be held at Pennsylvania’s Jack Frost Mountain over Memorial Day Weekend, bringing music, ethnic food, and specialty vendors. Celtic rock bands, show bands, and acoustic storytellers will provide entertainment on three stages.
The festival will start at 1 p.m. on Saturday, May 26. The Willie Lynch Band will kick off the festivities, with continuous music going until 10 p.m. from bands including Pat Roper, Andy Cooney, The Irish Balladeers, Seamus Kennedy and Celtic Cross.
More bands are on top Sunday including Johnny Murphy and the Clubmen, the Black Velvet Band, the New York Showband, and more.
The “Leprechaun Lift” will be providing scenic chairlift rides, and a vendor tent will have sweaters, jewelry, hats, and t-shirts imported from Ireland. Children will be entertained each day from 1 to 6 p.m. at the Children’s Stage, with crafts, magic and storytelling. Splatter Paintball games and the Traxx Motorcross Park will also be open.
