This morning marked the beginning of Whitetail Ski Resort’s mountain biking season. Opening day festivities included the Mountain Laurel Craft Show and bike demonstrations. Whitetail will also be open on Sunday, May 10 for mountain biking. Starting Saturday, May 16, the resort will be open daily through November 1, except Tuesdays. The trails are open from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., and the Whitetail Express lift runs on weekends from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and on select holidays.

Whitetail has a wide variety of mountain biking terrain for beginners through experts. A fleet of Cannondale mountain bikes is available for rental, including front suspension and full suspension models. Several workshops are also offered.
