Elk Mountain has increased snowmaking by adding an additional water pump, 66 new tower guns, and 10 new Areco fan guns. Snowmaking was added to the Tioga Spur trail, and the trail was re-graded. The Lenape trail was also widened and re-graded. A new Pisten Bully 100 has been purchased for grooming. More than 200 sets of new skis and boots have been added to the rental fleet. The Pennsylvania ski area also relocated 700 additional Norway and White Spruce trees on the hill to enhance the mountain and provide windbreaks for snowmaking.
