Pennsylvania’s Liberty Mountain Resort has made numerous snowmaking enhancements throughout the ski area. Eight new computerized Areco fan guns have been spread between the Lower Vertigo Park and the base area. The fan guns on Upper Ultra were also replaced with Omicron Tower Guns, and two fan guns were added to the Boulder Ridge tubing area. Night skiing will be enhanced with lighting upgrades. All-new lighting has been installed in Vertigo Park and on the Halfpipe, and the intensity of lighting has been increased in Liberty’s base area.

Liberty’s staff has been busy over the summer making numerous improvements across the resort. New trail signage has been installed, and renovations in the Food Court include new carpeting and more optimal seating for families. More guest storage will be provided, including larger lockers and additional baskets at the Basket Check. An additional full-size shuttle bus has been added to Liberty’s vehicle fleet, allowing the ski area to run four buses during peak times to shuttle guests between the base area and parking lots.

A solarium has been added at McKee’s Tavern, and restrooms around the ski area have been refurbished. 230 children’s skis and 50 children’s snowboards were added to the rental fleet, along with 100 additional rental helmets.
